Peaceful Planet Solutions our conviction is that our current global challenges are presenting us with issues so great that we must rethink the way in which we learn. The learning we must do is of the order and magnitude of a great transformation, so we call this "transformative learning."

What is “transformative learning”? It  involves experiencing a deep, structural shift in the basic premises of thought, feelings, and actions. A shift of consciousness that dramatically and irreversibly alters our way of being in the world is the goal. Such a shift involves:

  • our understanding of ourselves and our self-locations

  • our relationships with other humans and with the natural world

  • our understanding of relations of power in interlocking structures of class, race and gender

  • our body-awareness, our visions of alternative approaches to living,

  • our sense of possibilities for social justice and peace as well as personal joy

We invite you to join with us to dialogue, co-inspire and envision together.
Co-inspiration arises from the conversations we have with each other that are conducted in mutual respect for the other and it provides for a manner of working together in freedom. Practical vision is the way of finding our life work such that every day is lived in passion, enthusiasm and delight for the life we have.

The deep order process that our audience is invited into is one that allows us to identify the gathering as a whole as an "integral group."

In the same way that the consciousness of individuals is an emergent phenomena from the co-ordination of activities of million of sensitive cells in the body, we consider the "organ" of consciousness for an integral group to be coordinated combined consciousness of their members. When groups can fully respect their members and provide the necessary conditions for each of their members to become fully present to themselves and to each other, the groups capacity for self-organizing emerges, and when the individuals themselves begin to tune into and reflect on the workings of the whole, we consider that a form of consciousness. At this stage the group may be capable of exquisitely creative, responsible, and wise collective action that goes well beyond that of any other of the particular individuals participants within the group.

In an integral group, individual sovereignty and consciousness is not lost or subjugated to the group task but becomes aligned with it. When individuals find that their own personal and authentic expression provides some unique and vital element in the life of the group, and where there is a coherence between their inner world and the community in which they live, they experience a deep sense of fulfillment and joy.

You are invited into a process and a relational space which is designed to encourage maximum participation in our global community’s transformation.

We should seek counsel with each other in the interest of restoring creation. As such, we should also recognize that Spirit and a sense of the sacred needs to be present in our community.

It is our intention is to come into alignment with the Creator and in turn bring about the conditions for transformative learning.

Each aspect of our learning process will weave into one another in an integral manner over the course of transformation. Like a confluence of streams, joining the enlarging river, and tumbling toward the nearest sea, each step towards unity within our community will build on the previous step and  will water and seed the progression of steps  with in-depth discussion themes. The discussion presented will in turn, will flow back into the Gathering through end of day forums..

In the design of our transformation process together we value participant input. If you have suggestions – please contact us at the email address provided on Page one.

OUR VISION

To support the training of students involved

in improving global health and wellness.

Working together with members of our various local, national and international communities, we are striving to make far-reaching and positive differences in the world – by offering practical, beneficial information to our visitors and through our pioneering research.

On behalf of our web-site, we hope you enjoy and benefit from your visit .

In honour of those seeking to enhance our global community this web-site will honour a champion of humanitarianism monthly.

Folliot Pierpoint (1864) wrote beautiful poetry; his hymns present the earth's splendor as blessings to be grateful for.  His list of blessings includes the natural beauty of earth and skies, the amazing creation called the "human being" and the gift of time. But some of his warmest words are used to thank God for the joy that family and friends—living and departed—have given, and continue to give to our lives.

Let us consider those living in areas devastated by drought, fire, flood and a myriad of other disasters. Let us also consider those who have been neglected, abused, ignored or betrayed. For all such people, we pray that God will bless them; and then move the rest of us to provide assistance - that will bring peace and release from their difficult circumstances.

"God has no hands but our hands to do His work today" begins an old poem that echoes Jesus’ beautiful words found in Matthew 25:

I was hungry and you gave me food…
You invited me in…you visited me.

For all of us, may the words of this hymn bring strength to our lives and brightness to those we help.

"For Thyself, best gift divine
To our race so freely given…
Lord of all, to Thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise."

Psalm 103 says,
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits.

...and consider that nothing…in all creation will be able to separate us
from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
